Eliana Grasso, pianist, has performed in Europe and in the United States in important concert halls such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Wigmore Hall in London, Sala Verdi in Milan, Royal Academy Music in London, Heremitage in Saint Petersburg, Theatre “La Filature” in Mulhouse, Maffeiana Hall in Verona, the Social Theatre in Bellinzona, the Pauline Chapel in Rome, Bloomsbury Theatre in London, Salon Chopin in Paris, Ducal Palace in Mantova, Piccolo Regio Theatre in Turin.

She makes her debut in 1994 playing Haydn’s D major Concerto with the Orchestra of Mulhouse, directed by Luca Pfaff. She performs as a soloist with several orchestras: Magister Harmoniae, Orchestra Piccolo Auditorium Paradisi, Verona Philharmonic Orchestra, CDM String Orchestra, directed among the others by Piero Bellugi, Federico Biscione, C. M. Amadesi.

She performs for important Italian festivals: MITO Settembremusica, Società dei Concerti, Società del Quartetto, Unione Musicale, Trame Sonore, I Concerti del Quirinale, Polincontri, Rivolimusica, Milano Classica, Walton Foundation, Ravello Concert Society. She has performed in Russia, United States, France, Switzerland, England, Romania, Norway. She plays regularly in various chamber music formations; four hands and two pianos with Irene Veneziano and explores liederistic repertoire with soprano Susanna Rigacci.

She has won prizes in Music International Competitions: Third prize at EMCY St. Petersburg International Competition and First Prize in New York’s Golden Classical Awards. In Italy she has won: Stresa Competition, J.S. Bach Prize, Kawai Prize, Clementi competition and others. In 2014, she wins First Prize in the International Competition “Festival of Bellagio”.

Her concerts have been broadcasted live by Rai Radiotre, recently she has been interviewed for “The Pianist”, live on Classica Radio Milan. For Velut Luna she has released “Sortilèges”, music by Ravel and Saint Saëns with pianist I. Veneziano and “Liszt Piano Trascriptions”. For Da Vinci she has released “Lettres sur la danse”, music by F. Chopin; she has also published for Sheva and Egea. In 2024 she has released, for Brilliant Classics, a cd with works by Mel Bonis, with one of the principal italian flutists, Mario Ancillotti.

She studies at Academy of Imola with Franco Scala, Piernarciso Masi and Riccardo Risaliti. She also studies with: K. Bogino, E. Arciuli, P. Badura-Skoda, M. Damerini, A. Lucchesini, S. Gadžijev, J. Swann, P. De Maria.

She has worked as Professor and collaborative pianist for the Academy of La Scala Theatre, today she is Piano Professor at Conservatory of Aosta.
